Your First Look at the Danbury Maiden in Queen Charlotte

Netflix has released the first image of Young Lady Agatha Danbury (Arsema Thomas) In Shonda Rhimes‘ new series, Queen Charlotte: The Bridgerton Story. The limited series, slated to premiere in 2023, is a prequel to Bridgertonbecause it’s about a young Queen Charlotte (IndiaAmarteifio) as she explores the social scene in London for the first time.
Of course, this means that the series will have other features Bridgerton fan favorites, including Lady Violet Bridgerton (Connie Jenkins-Greig) and the aforementioned Lady Danbury. Adjoa Andoh and Ruth Gemmell—who plays OG Lady Danbury and Lady Bridgerton respectively — will also appear in Queen Charlotte opposite Golda RosheuvelQueen title.
So what can we expect from Young Lady Danbury? Pretty much, according to Netflix.
“Under the thumbs of a much older husband, Agatha uses Charlotte’s appearance to find her way into her own society,” the streamer’s description teased. “With her profound knowledge of the once divided social landscape and the intricacies of marriage, Agatha becomes a guiding light for the new Queen, and finds her own voice and power without fail. we will soon recognize that BridgertonLady Danbury’s emblem.”
