Legendary actor Ray Liotta passed away at the age of 67 todayand it made me feel nostalgic for one of the most iconic scenes in cinematic history: Goodfellas Helicopter chase. For those who have never seen it, 8-scene that tells the chaotic story of Liotta’s character, robber Henry Hill, especially out of control day. That being said, if you haven’t seen it yet GoodfellasYou really should too. To me, it’s Martin Scorsese’s best movie, and it’s streaming on HBO Max.

The way Liotta portrays a day in the life of an average bandit is simply stunning. BILLIONhe has a lot of the physical action that Liotta does in this scene, the way he conveys drug-induced paranoia, is amazing. It’s a shame he was never nominated for an Academy Award.
He runs around the west side of Long Island like a real man with a lot to do, and it’s all from his front seat. Cadillac coupe brown. Dude, you have a lot of work to do. Henry had to pick up his brother at the hospital, drop some silencers at Robert De Niro’s house, and get some cocaine. Meanwhile, he looked up at a helicopter that was following him around. At one point, he even joined his wife, who in my head-cannon is EASYr. Melfi before we see her in Sopranosto give back – and join – a a little bit of that coke. He’s doing it all happened while preparing Sunday dinner, because he’s *gestures* italian.
Anyway, sit back and watch this scene, because it’s truly a stunning piece of footage and definitely one of the defining moments.s in Liotta’s career. Rest in peace, Ray.
