And while all the colors seem to be shining right now, (mandarin and hot pink among them), an unusually super-specific color combination has particularly caught my attention. . I first noticed it at the Theophilio SS’22 show, where the green, yellow and red color palettes were themes that re-emerged in the collection. Weeks later, the lively spring presentations by Bottega Veneta and Versace convinced me yellow and green as a power duo were here to stay.
From highway to runway, yellow and electric green, or what do I want to call it Ghost dressed up, is a pair of costumes that suddenly take over the scene. And while the fashion crowd is never afraid to experiment with color combinations that seem out of the ordinary, this is the boldest color combination to date. Bright colors can evoke a bit of reluctance, but trust me when I say that this micro-trend can be a much more accessible IRL.
