The DICE Awards has revealed the nominations for its 26th annual event – with Nintendo titles nominated in several categories.
Title of PlatinumGames bayonet 3 is racing for the ‘action game of the year’. It undertakes Base, White neon, private wife and Vampire Survivor.
Kirby’s Dream Buffet and Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope are in the ‘game of the year’ category for families. Their competitors include Disney’s Dream Valley of Light, Lost while playing and champion trombone.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 featured in the role-playing game of the year category against FromSoftware’s Elen’s ring and a list of other titles including sleeping citizen, Strange West and the new one World of Warcraft Dragonflight expansion.
And Mario Striker: League of Legends was nominated in the ‘sports game of the year’ category – take on fifa 23, MLB Program 22, NBA 2K23 and OlliOlli World.
Last but not least is the Game of the Year category. The lineup here includes Elden Ring, god of war Ragnarok, Forbidden Horizon, lost and the indie hit Vampire Survivors. You can see the full list of all nominees and categories on the official website. The winners will be revealed on February 23.
