A Michigan woman has been forced to quarantine in an on-board bathroom for five hours after she tested positive while in the air.
Marisa Fotieo took a quick test when her throat started to feel sore, Today reported. The flight with about 150 people was traveling from Chicago to Reykjavik, Iceland on December 20.
Fotieo told Today: “I just took a quick test and took it to the bathroom. That means it’s positive. “My biggest fear is for it [the passengers]. ”
Fotieo posted her quarantine on TikTok. “Scream to @Icelandair for my VIP quarantine,” she captioned the video.
She said that a flight attendant checked on her during the flight and they brought her food and drink, to eat in the bathroom. The waiter also sent her flowers because she will be alone for Christmas.
“It was so sincere and she was just an angel,” said Fotieo she speaks.
