The outlet has also identified 20-year-old Willock and his teammate Warren McClendon, among other players, in footage showing the group leaving the Toppers International Showbar around 2:30 a.m. on January 15. .

The group went out to celebrate Georgia’s consecutive national championships, including their historic victory over Texas Christian University (TCU) on the night in question.

The outlet reported that the players were “accompanied by two women very similar to the UGA employees involved in the fatal crash.”

The group left the strip club about 30 minutes after it closed in a black 2021 Ford Expedition driven by LeCrow.

Officers responded within five minutes of the collision, which occurred about 2.5 miles from the strip club.

The SUV, which is believed to have been speeding, was carrying the group when it hit the curb on the passenger side before crashing into two power poles.

Meanwhile, a toxicity report on LeCroy is still pending.

A UGA spokesman declined to comment on whether university employees violated school rules by participating in a strip club with student-athletes.

“Our primary focus remains on providing comfort and support to the family and friends of Devin, Chandler and the two others injured, as well as those affected by this tragedy,” the statement reads. .

The statement went on to say, “Out of respect for the individuals and their families, we will not be commenting further at this time regarding the accident or the ongoing investigation.”

Willock was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Journal-Constitution, while 24-year-old LeCroy died of his injuries after being transported to nearby Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center.

The crash report said LeCroy was trapped behind the wheel and had to be freed from the vehicle.

Willock was in the driver’s seat and was not wearing a seat belt when he was thrown from the vehicle.

Victoria Bowles, 26, a recruitment officer who was also not wearing a seat belt, was seriously injured in the crash. McClendon, 21, was treated for minor injuries at an Athens hospital before being discharged shortly afterwards.

Willock, a native of Milford, NJ, appeared in 15 games for Georgia and made two starts. He was a sophomore in red before his tragic death.

Last week, McClendon accepted an invitation to the Senior Bowl at Hancock Whitney Stadium in Mobile, Alabama on February 1.
