You’ve had a lot of really incredible red carpet moments over the years. Is there a moment that means a lot to you? And the flip side of that, what are you less likely to want to repeat?
God, for sure. I think I have three looks that I think have a special place in my heart. The first thing that comes to mind is when I wear this unbelievable blue Valentino dress Vanity Fair The Oscars party was a couple of years ago, and it had this cape. It is an absolutely breathtaking work of art. The second I put it on, I was like, “Oh my god, here it is.” I really love this white Tory Burch dress that I wore to the Met. We got to work on it and design it together, it was fun. I love Tory. I think she’s a wonderful person, a businesswoman and an artist, and I really love that dress. So funny. That makes me not want to wear a wedding dress, because this is what I want. It’s so wonderful. I said, “Maybe if I get married, I’ll just wear pajamas because this is the peak. This is what I want.” And then there’s the Fendi yellow jumpsuit that I wore at the Golden Globes which I really love. It’s a low-V, puff-sleeve jumpsuit. It looks like a dress, but it’s a jumpsuit. I also had to be involved in the design process, so that was really special. And then there are the things that I don’t like, the list is so many. Oh my gosh, I was wearing a dress that had a slit in the leg and all that jewelry on it. That’s not me.
