When Harbin SHS rescuers arrived at a property in Harbin, China, they discovered more than 2,000 dogs. However, one of the canines stands out for the saddest of reasons. While the others were playing, this particular dog froze to death in the corner from fear and loneliness.

She is also in poor health. Her coat was filthy and covered in excrement, indicating that she had not been groomed for a long time. She was neglected for a long time, when her condition revealed.

They adopted this dog and named it Harriet. She sat down on a volunteer’s lap as soon as they got on the bus, feeling safe for the first time. They took her to the doctor, she was estimated to be about 8 months old.

Harriet is a puppy with a bright future, but she has endured more sadness than any dog has. However, she is in the right hands now and is well on her way to recovery. Fortunately, aside from the obvious illness, Harriet is in superb form. They bathed her first and shaved off her filthy tangled hair.

Harriet then went to live at the rescue center, where she would recuperate for two months. Harriet’s fur began to grow back and she emerged from her shell as the weeks passed. She is a wonderful, agreeable dog that deserves to be rewarded with a loving family. Now it’s time for Harriet to find an adoptive home.

Rosee Vallee, a Canadian woman, was inspired to adopt Harriet after seeing her photo on the internet. Harriet was flown to San Francisco by a volunteer as part of a journey to meet her new mother for the first time.

Harriet moved to Canada after her release, where she began a new life. With her arrival, however, a new name comes: Bailey. In addition to being a mom, she has three brand new dog sisters that get along very well.

Bailey is having a great time with her new family and going on amazing excursions. She has come many miles since being stuck in the yard at that property, thanks to the volunteers and veterinarians who assisted her along the way!
