The great thing about camera equipment (specifically lenses), is that if it’s taken good care of, it can work just as well as it did when you bought it brand new, and you can often save a considerable amount of money by buy used. Probably 60-70% of what I own is used and I’ve never had a problem with any of it, and importantly I’ve saved thousands of dollars over the years this way.
