- Big topic: Flight to manufacturing companies and do things: Nucor (NUE) and Johnson & Johnson (JNJ).
- Will the retail ravages continue and is it omicrons or the Fed or both?
- Pfizer (PFE)… Pill may be good… no death, less hospital
- I have Bausch Health (BHC) Mad Money CEO tonight… It’s the long-awaited breakup into three companies… I think the parts are worth much more than the whole.
- SVB Financial Group (SIVB)… reduced by nearly 100 points but better with MoffettNathanson… can have other values…
- Distance (DOCS)… hold for sale JP Morgan … pretty serious…
- Cathie Wood buys Endeavor Group Holdings (EDR)… 139,000 shares… a bit confusing…
- Dell Technology (DELL) downgraded at Evercore ISI and then JPMorgan was dropped from the spotlight… JPM cites 50% year-to-date price increase…. but retains buy rating… Evercore says price just up gradually… too high
- Piper said Dollar Tree (DLTR) response to Mantle Tree “falling down” … indicates some of Mantle’s nominations are valid…
- Kroger (KR) cuts benefits for the unvaccinated…
- Starbucks (SBUX) the union isn’t over yet… did they hire the wrong person? … a union organizer has been hired, mistake first…second: are Buffalo stores really doing well? … Baird price target cut from $128 to $126… worried about negative coverage by state media in China… Bloomberg said they were trying to hold it in Boston…
- Zscaler (ZS)… JPMorgan downgrades… cites limited upside, valuation risk
- Cloudflare (NET) downgrade holding to sell JPMorgan — heresy…
- CrowdStrike (CRWD) holding upgrade to buy JPMorgan — compression valuation … analyst is Sterling Auty … important
- Discover (DISCA) could double according to Citi… said they deserved a higher price-to-sales ratio…
- Bank of America Upgrade Apple (AAPL) hold to buy… now? … has a $160 price target as of April 28… AR says killer new phone app… downgraded Aug 5, 2020… new target 210 dollars…
- McDonald’s (MCD)… price target increased $255 to $295 BTIG — channel test
- JPMorgan continues to hold to buy NOV Inc. (NOV) Old National Varco… say strong demand, new wave of global upstream drilling… will benefit them
- Aecom (ACM)… Baird says good business book… but I think this is a major infrastructure stock…
- PayPal (PYPL) Price target cut from $275 to $225 at Mizuho … citing potential risks…
- Nike (NKE) pt raised $166 to $199 at Deutsche Bank … 20th report… they thought it would be better…
- Block (SQ) – (Square) – Mizuho drops $380 to 295 pt… again, citing potential risks… also needs Affirmation (AFRM) $180 to $140…potential risk.
- Musk Time person of the year … hits Facebook … offers a view on self-driving cars: “The death toll will be significantly reduced.”
