The end is not really the end Fire Emblem joins, because there’s post-game content after you watch the ending. You should be able to save the game with the icon appearing next to the deleted save file. After that, downloading the aforementioned file will give you access to some instant bonuses, as well as the ability to replay the final chapter’s battle, resume online matches, face off against Battle on the world map and handle DLC.

You also unlock the Wicked Volcano map in the Relay Trial and difficulty level 41+.
As a reminder, Crystals can be used to strengthen Join Weapons connected to the iconic Ring. You can use them to increase their stats and make them more efficient. The various books given with this bonus give the character SP instantly. So the Beginner’s Book provides 100 SP, the Adept Book provides 500 SP, and the Expert Book provides 1,000 SP.
