Weston McKennie returns to USMNT roster for June friendlies, Nations League matches


United States men’s national team Coach Gregg Berhalter has announced his 27-man roster for a friendly pairing as well as two Concacaf Nations League matches that will take place in June.

America will have to face Morocco and Uruguay in friendlies on June 1 and June 5, respectively. These matches will be followed by CNL matches against Grenada in Austin on June 10 and an away game against El Salvador four days later.

The players will begin arriving at training camp in Cincinnati – where Morocco’s match will take place – later this week. The matches will serve as preparations for the 2022 World Cup, where the US has been placed in Group B along with England, Iran and one of Wales, Scotland and Ukraine.
