Weigh-in alert: Chantelle Cameron 139.9, Mary McGee 139.10


Barring an unwelcome draw, boxing historical past shall be made in London this weekend.

Chantelle Cameron and Mary McGee efficiently made weight forward of their inaugural ladies’s 140-pound Ring Journal championship battle which takes place on the o2 Area on Saturday.

Cameron, who’s rated No. 1 by The Ring at 140 pounds, got here in at 139.9 kilos. The unbeaten boxer-puncher from Northampton, England has received 14 bouts, with 8 KOs, and holds the WBC title.

McGee, who’s rated No. 2 by The Ring, got here in a contact heavier at 139.10. The Gary, Indiana product is 27-3 (15 KOs) and received the vacant IBF title in December 2019.

The winner of this bout will go to fulfill the victor of the November 19 conflict between Kali Reiss and Jessica Camara to determine an undisputed champion.
