Lindsay Adler has long been a staple in the photography industry. So when I got a chance to sit down and catch up on what she was up to, I jumped on It.
When it comes to big-name photographers, Lindsay Adler is one of the top people who love to take pictures. Given her job as Canon Explorer of Light as a Profoto ambassador, her work is as good as her reputation.
In this conversation, I have a chance to discuss Optical point modifier in partnership with Westcott. While optical dot has been widely known since its release, this type of modifier has been around for quite some time. But the offerings in the past were either very expensive or their abilities were limited. So I’m curious what the process of bringing something like this to market looks like. From there, we delve into her role as an educator. I know she has an online platform for photography education, teaches in-person conferences and still maintains a thriving business as a working portrait and fashion photographer . So I want to know how that all balances out. In this part of the talk, Lindsay breaks down how she allocates her time between different aspects of her brand, from monthly online education to quarterly live webinars, with everything else spread in between. .
Lindsay also went on to mention that all of her quick-access live events are sold out, but there are a few conference-style workshops that anyone can join. The first was an event at the Idaho People’s Police Academy and another at the Photo Creators Conference in Tuscon Arizona.
