WCE (West Coast Expressway) has announced that tolling for Section 1, connecting the Banting interchange with the South Klang Valley Expressway (SKVE) interchange, will begin on September 30, Monday, from 12:01 a.m., the highway operator announced.
Season 1 of WCE premiered on August 30and travel along this section is free until September 29 (Sunday). Section 1 is the southernmost part of the highway, stretching 12.5 km from Banting, Selangor to Taiping, Perak along the western coast of the peninsula.
The toll for Section 1 of the WCE is fully integrated with the South Klang Valley Expressway interchange via the Tanjung Dua Belas interchange. The motorway operator said these prices consider the motorway user’s entire journey, including travel on SKVE.
In accordance with current standard practice, toll collection for Part 1 on WCE will be entirely electronic, accepting Touch ‘n Go, SmartTag and RFID cards. Users should have sufficient credit balance in their Touch ‘n Go card and e-wallet before starting their journey.
