Get ready for a girl group reunion for the ages.
On January 31, Bravo released the first trailer for the upcoming six-part limited series SWV & Xscape: R&B Queenswill record two hit groups of the ’90s—Gambling Cheryl “Coko”, Tamara “Taj” George and Leanne “Lelee” Lyons of the SWV and Kandi Burruss, Tameka “tiny” Harris, LaTocha Scott-Bivens and tamika scott of the Xscape—team up for a one-night epic performance.
But as first glance revealed, the seven stars will create plenty of drama as well as music as they prepare to take the stage together. For starters, the question of which group will be the main leader causes tension between Coko and Kandi, as Coko tells it. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star, “I’ve sold 30 million records, bitch!”
The seven singers also have to shoulder family obligations with the rise of their careers. Meanwhile, one team member shocked the others when she announced that she had her own record deal meeting during preparations for the concert.
