Call of Duty: Warzone is making an epic comeback as part of the first season of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. After becoming a prominent player in the battle royale genre, the spinoff is receiving a sequel update called Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0. This new entry gives fans of the original more free-for-all action genre and adds new enhancements to the pre-existing Warzone formula to change certain familiarities and add more. With a brand new map filled with diverse terrain and vehicle options, Warzone 2.0 offers a more refined and remixed experience than before. Strategies will change and become more varied, new locations will join your routes, and the new Collapse Circle feature takes everyone into a memorable Warzone finale. Along with all of this, any upgrade from Modern Warfare II’s engine also present. Where are we falling, and how are we traveling?
Warzone 2.0 will take players to a new location called Al Mazrah. This brightly colored map takes Warzone exploration to the next level. The free island for all keeps you adventuring through deserts, towns, cities, and everything in between. How you traverse this vast land is up to you and the terrain and vehicles you find.
This entry in the Warzone universe expands on previous vehicle and travel options. Land vehicles are no longer the only option. Want to soar into the sky with your team on a helicopter? You are free to do so. Want to take a slow destructive approach in a tank? Just give it a try. And just like in Modern Warfare II, players have new underwater combat options and can use boats to navigate the water.
Remember to keep an eye on your fuel gauge as each vehicle can run out of gas, forcing you to fill up at the gas station.
A new way to plan your route
Another important change coming with Warzone 2.0 is the way you find items in Al Mazrah. Gear is now placed more logically and realistically around the world. For example, victims and medical syringes are stored in medicine cabinets, while weapons and other equipment are often located in armories and military bases. This new location philosophy is consistent across all Warzone 2.0 loot, challenging you to navigate to specific areas to gather needed supplies.
While it may seem small at first, these new locations will change your travel route and provide a new way to play Warzone. Instead of going from one random location to the next, you might want to map out a path to more gas stations to refill your car or find areas where you can collect a lot of medical supplies. than. Like the inclusion of more vehicles, this change adds another layer of strategy that will change the way you play.
Enemies can become your ally or final boss
The Gulag has changed dramatically since you left. A new rule forces you to put your second life in the hands of possible future enemies. Instead of fighting alone to get back into battle, you’ll sometimes team up with an opposing player. You can use their help to defeat the other team or make another Gulag escape goal by defeating the AI warrior known as “The Jailer” who holds the key to your escape. .
The dynamic circle system is another way you can cross paths with more opponents. This new Circle Collapse randomly changes Al Mazrah safe zones. Instead of always being a single safe circle that every player must fight to stay in, the area sometimes splits into several circles. Teams that survive in separate circles will be placed in the final singles circle for a dramatic end to the match. This last singular area serves as the battleground for each of the remaining teams. This gameplay change feels like a final boss against human-controlled teams, packed with the best skins they can find.
