VW ID.Buzz production specification interior appears in leaked photo

Product VW ID.Buzz tram will be officially revealed in just over a month. But we’ll get a look inside Buzz soon, as it looks like someone snapped snaps of the truck from earlier trailers (rainbow stripe camouflage). The photos come to us from Forum VW ID Talk, and they give us an impressively clear view of the cabin. We definitely approve color mechanism.

The standout feature of this van is the orange and white upholstery. It’s all fabric and the orange inserts are further accentuated by the geometric top stitch. The seats also have an “ID”. embroidered on the back with contrasting white. There is also orange trim on the dashboard and doors.

The seats are arranged with a typical captain’s chair at the front and a three-row bench at the back. Interestingly, this particular van appears to be a two-row model, as there are no third-row seat belts and the rear platform doesn’t appear to have hidden seats. These rear pedestals allow for a flat load floor with the second row of seats folded. It is not clear if the second row of seats is removable. The second row at least slides and reclines. They also have small ball valves that are molded in plastic sidewalls. The rear pedestals appear to be removable so taller items can rest upright. We imagine that with the pedestals in place and the rear seats lowered, this would be a great layout to set up some sort of mattress for camping.

The control panel looks extremely similar to the design used in ID.4. There is a hexagonal instrument cluster in front of the steering wheel that houses the information display. A large touchscreen stands out with a dash in the center. The truck’s extra height is brought to use by incorporating flip-out cup holders below the air vents. Pedal with pause and play icons for brake and ga, like early versions of ID.4. That, as well as the power-adjustable seat controls, makes us think this is a pretty high-spec Buzz.

These interior photos also give us a hint of the exterior. The door sill shows this Buzz in a two-tone paint job. The top is white, and the bottom half is metallic orange.

We think this color scheme will really stand out and represent Buzz in the best possible way. We can’t wait to see it, but really, we have to. At least we’ll just have to wait until March 9.
