Volunteer flag marshals needed for Wakefield Park ASBK
Wakefield Park ASBK 2022
Flag marshals are needed!
The Australian Motor Racing Championships will take place at Wakefield Park the weekend of April 22-24, arguably the best-viewed circuit in the country and they are expressing interest in the slots. volunteer racetrack governor.
This role would suit individuals who can think on their feet, react quickly to changing circumstances, and be rational. Age is not a barrier, they have followers of 1.8 and others also in their 60s. No previous track marshal experience required.
You’ll be part of a team that picks up or collects a dropped bike and moves it to safety, usually while there are bikes still racing. At the end of the practice session, you may be asked to assist the medical and/or recovery team, as well as clean up any debris or oil on the track.
There aren’t any other roles that get you up close and personal with the racing action without actually racing the bike yourself and you get to work with a great team of people.
Ideally, they are looking for volunteers to attend all three days if possible – including Friday – but they are understanding if you can attend Saturday and/or Sunday.
