“It’s all about this season’s high-waisted wide-leg pants,” says Earl, who calls these Gap pants “the perfect winter office piece.” Rundbaken agrees, noting that “these loose, high-waisted pants are super flattering and equally comfortable.” She also loves the fact that they are made from 80% recycled polyester. The pants are available in four colors (black, navy, fawn and eggplant) and are available in regular, petite and tall sizes.

Rundbaken loves the “subtle print of these pants,” which she says was pleasing to both the ’60s and ’90s “but still looks totally modern.” While not exactly a casual piece, Rundbaken notes that these make a surprisingly versatile wardrobe addition because they’re easier to put on. For starters, she suggests pairing them with “a simple turtleneck or cami cardigan” and then layering a fleece jacket on top.
