Turns out the Elden Ring bats are actually singing a pretty sad song
Translations of sirens reveal some sad legends
If you’ve traveled around the Lands Between, you’ve no doubt heard a strange voice in the distance. Perhaps you went to investigate it. And like most things in Elden Ringcontinue to regret a singing bat descending on you.
The bats are singing Elden Ring can be found in several places. I stumbled across my first one in the Liurnia of the Lakes, when I was happily riding along.
Turns out the bats were singing in an actual language, though not English. It seems to be Latin. As a Twitter user Chinchillazilla indicate (through Rant screen), it’s also quite sad.

This YouTube video has a Similar translationsalthough there are several different interpretations of Latin.
Here are the lyrics of the song Elden Ring sing bat sing, via YouTuber Antonius Tertiusfull:
“Wow, that land, once given by nature, has now disappeared.
We brides, destined to be mothers, are now fading.
We lament and weep,
but no one comforts us.
Golden one, who were you angry at? ”
Like many other lore in Elden Ring, this is quite sad. Although it also gives some insight into the world, especially that it was in the distant past.
The hunt for legends
Lore hunters have gradually learned this game, picking out different pieces of Elden Ringthe world of. From my own experience, the latest version of FromSoftware is certainly very easy to use in this moment. I feel like Elden Ringmore than many others soul– kind of game, give me lots of updates.
That said, there are deeper parts of this world that remain to be discovered. It’s huge, and even small things can be easily missed the first few times around. As for me, I’m still trying to help a wizard usher in a new age. I’m content with rolling around, looking for cool stuff around every corner, and never again approaching a piece of melodious Latin poetry without caution.
A new update also went live today, adjusted some boss. One in particular may be of interest to some jar head hero.
