Truecaller released a new real-time audio chat app called Open Doors on Wednesday, July 13. According to the company, it works seamlessly on both platforms. Truecaller users can start using the app with one tap to sign in. Non-Truecaller users can log in to Open Doors by verifying their phone number through a missed call or one-time password (OTP).

Scandinavian caller identification services company, Truecaller yes announced Open Doors, a new real-time audio chat application. The new app has been developed by Truecaller’s teams in Stockholm and India. The company announced that Open Doors will available globally free via Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The company claims that it works seamlessly between Android and iOS.

Truecaller users can download Open Doors and simply sign in with one tap to start using the app. If you are not a user of the caller identification service, you will have to verify your phone number via missed call or OTP to log in. The company says Open Doors only requires access to your contact list to allow users to connect with friends, and a microphone to allow users to have real-time audio chats. Users participating in a chat will not be able to see the phone numbers of other participants, according to the company.

Open Doors allows users to join and leave conversations at will. The app notifies your friends when you join or start a conversation. Once the notification is received, your friends can choose to join the conversation by simply clicking on the alert message or through a link that can be shared separately. Once your friends have joined, the app will also alert their friends in the same way and the invitation cycle will thus continue.

The company also says the chats will be moderated by the community and they are not hosted anywhere. Truecaller added that Open Doors’ user interface is available in English, Hindi, Spanish, Latin and French. The company added that more languages ​​can be added at a later time upon user request.
