Another action RPG that started on mobile and PC is towards Sony consoles. Imagination Tower PS4 and PS5 versions are on the way. There is no exact release date yet. However, it is expected to arrive on consoles in Summer of 2023. The first trailer also appears for these free versions of the game.
This is Imagination Tower PS4 and PS5 trailers. While the video doesn’t show any original content for the console releases, the video’s description mentions some “exclusive items for PlayStation users”. Also, while there’s no pre-order page on the PlayStation Store yet, the description does mention “48 hours early access” if someone pays for the “premium” version.
Like games like The Genshin effect, Imagination Tower regularly updated. For example, the Special Orders gacha system allows people to get new weapons, which in turn unlock Simulacra (characters). Equipping one will change your avatar’s appearance and abilities. We also see new locations in the game after the new patches. The latest Simulacrum SSR added in May 2024 is the Rubilia, tied to the Lost Melody weapon. In-game events also appear, providing the opportunity to return to the game to earn special rewards or participate in different types of quests or mini-games.
