Yesterday, attorneys for Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion were in court to see if Lanez should go to court.
Prosecutors presented evidence that claimed Lanez shot Megan in the leg and told her to “jump b*tch,” and he later apologized.
“There was also an interesting exchange: When an LAPD detective testified about the apologetic phone call Lanez made to one of Megan’s friends, the rapper said enough: ‘How about you, give it to me? know what I’m sorry brother for? It doesn’t make any sense,” tweeted a journalist from the LA Times, “he shouted at the investigator.
He then tweeted: “NAH… i need someone to REPORT what REALLY said in court today, 45 minutes my lawyer raised conflicting evidence proving my innocence will never return as a false story that forces media coverage.”
The judge decided that there was enough evidence to order a hearing in the case and Tory will have to return to court next month.
