Tom Brady Responds To Tony Romo Calling Him ‘Slow’, Peyton Manning Holds Madden Speed Rating
Tom Brady took to Twitter on Monday to address recent comments by former quarterbacks Tony Romo and Peyton Manning about his pace.
Romo announced the Buccaneers’ 33-27 win over the Bills on Sunday as he called Brady “slow”. Funny enough, Brady hit a season-high of 13 yards throughout the game. Brady referenced the play in a response video.

Brady finished Sunday’s game with seven runs for 16 yards, including a 1-yard sneak hit.
Buccaneers coach Bruce Arians seems to have lost interest in the game about his 44-year-old quarterback running the ball.
“That should be enough—,” Arians told reporters.

Sunday’s game was historic for Brady as he overtook Drew Brees for the most finish in NFL history. He also hit the 700th touchdown pass of his career; He’s the only player in NFL history to reach that milestone.
Brady has recently been taking the heat from Manning thanks to his defender kicking skills, which is not surprising given that they compete against each other. Manning became the “rating adjuster” for the EA Madden 22 video game, and his first act was to lower Brady’s overall score from 99 to 44. Manning adjusted almost every category, but he kept the same category: Brady’s speed. It’s still at 71, not that high in Madden.
At the end of his Twitter video, Brady made sure to tell EA that he needed to raise his speed score. He suggested 93.
However, the category that Manning is most interested in is Brady’s accuracy, which is set at 99. Brady currently holds the record for most finishes, so there’s no reason why the score would be so high. Manning adjusted it to 70.
