In addition to the new card game, the upcoming Version 3.3 “All Senses Clear, All Existence Void” will introduce two eternal souls joining the playable cast: Faruzan and Scaramouche, our one-time enemies , now known as the Wanderer. What’s more, you can join Arataki Itto and a host of familiar faces on a series of adventures and tough challenges during the Test of Courage Event.
The wanderer and the scholar
Outlived most ordinary people in this world, both of our new characters will become our allies after their long and arduous experiences in life. After Scaramouche was defeated as the final boss in Sumeru’s main storyline, this lost soul seems to have found another path in life as the “Wanderer” while being held captive by Nahida. hold. In the new Archon Quest Interlude Chapter “Inversion of Genesis”, you will travel to Irminsul with Wanderer to learn more.
Once a formidable foe, the gypsy is now a powerful ally. Thanks to Anemo Vision, this new five-star character can hover in the air and use some of the most amazing combat skills with catalysts. When using his Elemental skill, Wanderer first deals AoE Anemo Damage and then jumps into the air, transitioning to a continuous hovering state. While hovering, Wanderers will consume Kuugoryoku Points instead of Stamina to stay suspended, levitate and sprint mid-air; meanwhile, his Normal Attack and Charged Attack will increase AoE and damage. Additionally, when his Elemental Skills come into contact with Hydro/Pyro/Cryo/Electro, he gains up to two of the four supports respectively, including increased Kuugoryoku Points cap, High Attack more, a higher CRIT Rate and the ability to restore a set amount of Energy when hitting an opponent with Normal Attack or Charged Attack. Finally, with his Elemental Burst, Wanderer compresses the atmosphere into a single vacuum and slams it toward his opponent. If the minion is suspended at that time, the hovering state will end after using the skill.
Our new four-star Faruzan also has an unusual past. Over a hundred years ago, this undisputed genius was accidentally trapped in the ruins, where a strange phenomenon prevented her from aging for years. It was only until recently that she managed to complete all the mechanics and puzzles, and also returned to Akademiya to continue her work as a researcher and advisor.
Faruzan also brings his talent and knowledge of machines into combat. Possessing the power of Anemo and a bow, she can effectively support the whole team. Her Elemental skill deploys a polyhedron that damages enemies. After casting her skill, her next Targeted Shot becomes a Special Charged Attack that creates a vortex at the point of impact after a short period of time, dragging objects and nearby opponents. With his Elemental Burst, Faruzan will deploy a larger polyhedron that moves along a triangular path and unleashes a Tornado Pulse that can provide an Anemo Damage Bonus to all party members and reduces the Anemo Resistance of the enemy hit. When the polyhedron touches each corner of that triangle, another Cyclone Pulse is generated. Faruzan even applies her knowledge in exploration, earning more rewards when she joins the Sumeru Expeditions.
Wanderer, Faruzan, and Arataki Itto’s replays will appear in the first half of the Version 3.3 Wish event, and the latter will see Raiden Shogun and Kamisato Ayato’s replays. The new 5-star Catalyst weapon, “Tulaytullah’s Remembrance” will join the new Weapon Event Wish.

Starting with Version 3.3, you can now challenge local characters, NPCs, and even your friends online to a Genius Summon round! The main objective in a match of Genius Invokation is simple: take out all of your opponent’s Character Cards with your card collection. To start building your deck, you need both a Character Card that deals damage with their character’s skills and an Action Card that includes Equip Cards, Event Cards, and Support Cards that provide a variety of effects and supports each other to diversify your winning strategy. Similar to the logic of the current elemental and combat systems, Character Cards also have Basic Attacks, Elemental Skills, and Elemental Blasts to deal damage and affect targets with their elemental powers . You can further trigger Elemental Reactions by switching to other Elemental Character Cards and casting their abilities on affected targets.
Meanwhile, performing an action such as launching an attack from a Character Card, swapping between Character Cards, or using an Action Card usually consumes a certain number of Elemental Dice. Character Cards typically consume more Elemental Dices of their respective element. At the start of each round, you and your opponent roll eight eight-sided Elemental Dice, each with faces representing one of the Seven Elements or an Omni Element. The chance to roll the selected Dice each round can help you get more Dice of the desired Element.
To unlock more cards with exquisite Dynamic Skins, challenge more NPCs to level up and earn Lucky Coins in exchange for new items in the Card Shop. If you want to test your deck building, you can always duel a friend or a random player online.
Have more fun with Seasonal Events
Version 3.3 also brings exciting events and challenges. In this season’s special, “Akitsu Kimodameshi”, you’ll find yourself going through strange challenges with Arataki Itto to complete a series of “brick-breaking” mini-games. Unlike the classic version of the game, elemental reactions will make things more interesting and challenging.
The Adventurer’s Guild is hosting another new event “Across the Wilderness” where you’ll need to collect Wilderness Balloons for a limited time. Besides, the classic hide-and-seek game “Windtrace” has returned with many new improvements. The popular challenge event “Misty Dungeon: Realm of Sand” also returns with seven new themed challenges to test your fighting prowess.
