The clubs that Tiger Woods uses at the Masters 2022 are not really good for him, like he finished in 47th place at the age of 13 in his return to the links. However, Tiger’s old club duo also had a great weekend.

Woods’ “Tiger Slam”, used when he won all four majors between 2000 and 2001, sold for a whopping $5,156,152 at Golden Age Auctions, based on USA Today. The clubs were originally purchased by Todd Brock in 2010, who won the clubs in auction for $57,242 at the time. That’s a whopping $5,098,920 profit for Brock.

The set includes nine Titleist 681-T irons, two irons via the pitching wedge and two Vokey wedges. Both wedges have “TIGER” written on them and the eight iron has an abrasive pattern in the center of the face.

Woods won the US Open, British Open and PGA Championship in 2000 and became only the second golfer in history to hold three major wins in the same year. Then Woods won masters in 2001 and became the first golfer to hold exactly four major golf championships at the same time.

To authenticate “Tiger Slam” clubs, the irons come with an affidavit as well as the results of a polygraph test from former Titleest vice president Steve Mata, conducted in 2010.

“We can be 100% confident that these clubs were used by Tiger Woods during his legendary 2000-01 seasons,” the Golden Age Auctions owner told PGATour.com.

Clubs sell for more than any golf memorabilia ever has. The most expensive golf memorabilia is the green jacket Horton Smith wore after winning his first Masters championship, priced at $682,000 nine years ago.
