Thursday night football fans

The 15th Thursday Night Football confrontation promises to be an exciting match as the Chargers host the captains with first place in the AFC West on the rope. Kansas City is one of three favorites at Vegas sportsbooks. Meanwhile, the Chargers are managing injuries to some of their integral attacking players. However, oddsmakers still expect a bunch of points, with a total of 50 climbs north. All in all, this will turn out to be a fun DFS contest, so we’re happy to toss out our FanDuel Week 15 one-game lineup selections.

Here are the main scoring settings for FanDuel’s single game competitions: The total score for “MVP” is multiplied by 1.5, but he doesn’t cost him any extra money like “Captain” in competitions the DraftKings Showdown exam. FanDuel’s default score is Half point PPR and TDs pass four points, and no bonuses for 100/300 yard matches like on DraftKings.

OTHER FD ONLY GAME: How to win a FanDuel game contest

FanDuel Single Game DFS Selection: Chiefs vs. Chargers

Budget $50,000, need at least one player from each team.

MVP (1.5x points) QB Justin Herbert, Charger ($16,500)

Without a doubt, the Chiefs have a dominant defensive play, only to have been wrong by 9.6 points in the past five games. We’re swinging for the fences here, though, and Justin Herbert has four 30.0-plus FanDuel performances (including 40.0) during the season. We will take our chance.

ADD TNF: DK . lineup | Start with ’em, sit’ em | Update Ekeler

FLEX TE Travis Kelce, Team Leader ($12,500)

Kelce has been relatively quiet towards the end of the year, posting identical 3-27 lanes in each of the past two games. There is no fancy analysis to determine when a player is “due”, but sometimes “the wheel creaks with grease”, as it is said. Kelce didn’t talk about the lack of production, but it’s unlikely the Chiefs will allow a player of his caliber to remain in the puzzle for much longer.

WEEK 15 USE DFS: DraftKings | FanDuel | Yahoo!

FLEX WR Keenan Allen, Charger ($12,000)

The availability of Austin Ekeler (ankle) and Mike Williams (heel) is now in doubt after both logged DNP earlier in the week. Allen has been the biggest catch on the team, so if those two are down – or even limited – there’s a reason Allen would be asked to carry heavier loads. He is not a multi-touch scorer, but this is a situation where one is more likely to be.

WEEK 15 PPR RANKING:
Midfielder | Run back | Wide receiver | Tight ending | VND / ST | Kicker

FLEX RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Team Leader ($11,000)

Edwards-Helaire hasn’t gotten the large number of touches we would have hoped to see him handle, but he has played well in three games since returning from a knee injury. Chargers are happy to allow teams to commit, so it should come as no surprise to see Edwards-Helaire receive a healthy amount of work.

MORE WEEK 15 DFS: The best stack | Best value | Squad Builder

FLEX RB Joshua Kelley, Charger ($8,000)

Kelley handles 10 carry and reels in his sole goal after Ekeler left the competition last Sunday with an ankle injury. Ekeler recorded a DNP on Monday and a limited practice during Tuesday’s rollout. It’s a big game for the Chargers, so they (and Ekeler himself) can try to do everything in their power to get their star back ready to fit. It’s an extremely tight window they’re working in, though, so it’s possible he sees fewer touches than usual and Kelley gets some carry keys around the goal line.
