With millions of people expected to watch Super Bowl LVII on February 12, advertisers are looking for ways to get noticed. Super Bowl advertising has become big business, with 30-second commercials selling for as much as $7 million.
One of those advertisers is price list, which is expected to give away more than $5 million in hidden travel deals with TV spots and digital ads on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and live-streaming YouTube at the start, with additional savings unlocked during the break. Fans can interact with the brand’s digital ads to access exclusive offers.
We don’t know how hard it will be to score these transactions. However, we want you to be ready in case you want to try and get one for yourself.
Offers are disguised as “props” in digital advertising, such as drinks, beach hats, and gold bars. Interacting with these tools will take you to the Priceline landing page where the hidden deals are located. We’re told it doesn’t matter which prop you interact with, they’ll all go to the same landing page and you can choose the offer you want — availability pending.
Sample deals include deep discounts on top destinations above and beyond Priceline’s typical savings of up to 60% on hotels, flights and rental cars.
$1,000 Coupon valid for Priceline Hotel Express Deals
Timed live with the opening Super Bowl at 6:30 p.m. EST, these coupons are available to travel anywhere, according to Priceline. They’ll be available until the sale runs out or 10:30 p.m. EST — whichever comes first. Terms and conditions apply.
Save 99% in Cancun and Maui
Priceline is also offering halftime deals, which are scheduled to go live at 8 p.m. EST. It’s advertised that you can save 99% on Priceline Hotel Quick Deals in Cancun, Mexico, and Maui, Hawaii — up to $500 in savings. Terms and conditions apply. These deals will be available until they sell out or February 27 at 9 a.m. EST, whichever comes first.
$500 off trips to California
Another halftime offer scheduled to release at 8 p.m. EST is a $500 coupon for trips to California. Coupons are limited in number and apply to select hotel Quick Deals and are valid from February 12 at 8 p.m. EST to February 27 at 9 a.m. EST. Travel for this deal must take place by August 31, and terms and conditions apply.
Priceline says users must be logged into their Priceline account to redeem any coupons. In addition, the coupons will only apply to bookings in US dollars.

The “Go to Your Happy Price” campaign was inspired by “the simple fact that the happiest people on Earth are travelers.” This is something we at TPG know well, but oftentimes price gets in the way of booking a ride.
