The orphan dog adopted Opossum many years ago and still takes him wherever she goes
Opossums are nocturnal creatures, so they cross the street at night, which unfortunately makes them susceptible to being hit by cars. An opossum who met this fate had her child cling to her side when she was found. If the baby is not saved, it will also die.

Poncho will stick to Hantu’s back, just like she did with her biological mother. Three years later, nothing has changed. Although Poncho is much larger than when she was saved, she still rides on Hantu’s back during their amazing hikes.
