The new Fiat 500e colors are inspired by the iconic gray skies of Los Angeles
If you don’t realize, Fiat 500e 2024 has arrived at dealers in the United States, with the first ones were all painted bright red. Maintain the brand There are plans to release special editions such as shoe drops, the brand has “dropped” the new special edition. The newest 500e is called the Fiat 500e Inspired By Los Angeles, and it’s… gray?
You’re probably wondering how a small Italian electric car can be inspired by Los Angeles while having a rather boring color scheme – isn’t LA famous for its sunny beaches and palm trees? The new colorway of the 500e is called Marine Layer Mist and is inspired by another type of weather effect that Southern California is also famous for.
To go a little deeper into meteorology, a marine layer forms when a mass of cool air over the ocean forms and collides with warm air over land. The result is cool temperatures and gray skies, which sometimes manifest as fog that typically clears by early afternoon. Fiat created a silver, blue-like color that complements the sky nicely.
Other unique features exclusive to Inspired By Los Angeles include black window trim, matte gray mirror caps, body-colored dashboard, 7-speaker JBL sound system and 17-inch diamond-cut wheels Comes with summer or all-season tires. That’s all with a host of driver assistance technologies. Like the other 500e, it has a 42 kWh battery pack that gives it a range of 149 miles.
None of this comes cheap. Including destination charges, the Fiat 500e Inspired By Los Angeles will start at $37,595. If you’re interested in dropping that amount on an electric city car, Fiat says it will be available to order at dealerships starting this month before going on sale in the third quarter of this year.
