The most delicious soft egg roll recipe
Hear me out: Luxury is a plate of soft custard scrambled eggs on top of a crusty bread. Eggs are my favorite inexpensive way to eat “fancy”.
This is hardly a recipe, but I think it deserves its own post. Like learning how to do the laundry or change the oil in a car, learning how to cook eggs properly is a seemingly simple thing that many of us don’t do. is fine. It’s all because cooking techniques.
Today I share how I make my favorite scrambled eggs. Interesting!
Soft scrambled eggs on toast
Ingredient
- 3 eggs
- Piece of toast
- Salt flakes
- Non-stick spray (or cooking oil of your choice)
Equipment
Direction
- Crack your eggs into a bowl and whisk them together until VERY combined. We don’t want any white spots!
- Spray the pan with non-stick solution (or rub it with the cooking oil of your choice). Do not preheat the pan. Turn the heat to medium-low and immediately put the eggs in the cold pan.
- When the pan is hot, use a spatula to stir the eggs continuously, removing any sticky eggs from the bottom of the pan.
- When the eggs are JUST DONE, still looking as if they need another minute, take them out of the oven.
- Add them on top of your toast—this one might be buttery but honestly, you don’t need to—and top the eggs with a layer of floating salt. Sometimes I also add some Fly By Jing Chili Crisp (given) for a turning point.
