The Jonas Brothers’ new record, “The Album,” is full of love songs — but one song in particular has a sweet plot. The song “Little Bird” is the 11th song, a lovely tribute to the brothers’ children.
The first line, “Come into this world, my daughter / Pretty angel / Oh, I can cry, have your mother’s kind eyes”, immediately sets the tone for the song, that’s all. whatever you want the best for their children. . Each brother is a father to daughters — Kevin and his wife, Danielle Jonas, welcomed Alena Rose in 2014 and Valentina Angelina in 2016; Joe and Sophie Turner welcome Willa in 2020 and an unnamed daughter in 2022; and Nick and Priyanka Chopra’s daughter, Malti Marie, born in 2022. “Keep me in your heart / When you fly into someone else’s arms, little bird,” Joe and Nick sing together at the beginning. express their feelings clearly.
The song seemed especially meaningful to the two brothers. In a January interview with Variety, when asked about his favorite track from the album, Nick said: “I’m torn between ‘Little Bird’, a song about fatherhood that will affect people in different ways and ‘Waff House.'”
Kevin also gave the song a special shout out on Twitter. “Couldn’t be more excited to share this new chapter with you all,” he wrote on the album’s release date, May 12. “Working on THE ALBUM has been a fulfilling and rewarding process. Songs like ‘Vacation Eyes’ and ‘Little Bird’ with life are already very special.”
As it turns out, “Little Bird” also seems to be loved by at least one of the people who talk about it. In a TikTok shared by Kevin Jonas, his daughter Valentina told him that “Little Bird” was her favorite song on the album. When her father asked why, she said, “Because it’s about us!” When Kevin asked her if she was sure, Valentina nodded and pointed to his bird tattoo and confirmed that the bird represented her and her sister, Alena.
