The Last Man – A look into the distant future (Video)


One day, the world will end. It is difficult to say exactly when – maybe in the last century, when Earth’s climate become incompatible with human life; or maybe in 5 billion years, when The sun runs out of nuclear fuel.

There are many factors that affect the chances of human existence in the future. Politics, global pollution, epidemiology, scarcity of natural resources and even extreme rarity fake asteroid can adversely affect the fate of mankind.

But it is also possible that the story of the last man on Earth will play out very differently. For example, people may leave their home planet in search of a new home. Or, over millions of years, the human species may split into many different species, through natural or man-made genetic changes, thus possibly rendering the current concept of man obsolete.
