This interesting information comes from the Air Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine – the video was posted on social networks today, August 30, 2022. In this new video, viewers can observe The MiG-29 launches several missiles while performing the required flight maneuvers. Among these missiles, one is AGM-88 HARM.

Anti-radiation missile AGM-88 HARM has been a source of active discussion for quite some time. Initially, it was not known whether these advanced weapons would be supplied to Ukraine. When they arrived in Ukraine, there was some doubt about the ability of Ukrainian specialists to adapt existing older generation jet fighters to be compatible with US-made weapons. But over time, this particular problem was resolved extremely quickly.

The AGM-88 is specially developed to detect and neutralize any object emitting radar-specific radio frequencies. Once the source of the radio signal is detected, the HARM ‘remembers’ the original target position even if the radar stops working. It also has an impressive maximum range of 150 km.
