The FFVII remake Twitter account posted some info on the design process behind Tifa. This is the latest in an unofficial series that explains how the development team designed the characters, monsters, and world. The tweet also includes close-up images of various accessories and clothing items.

According to the Tweet, it took more than 20 times to decide on Tifa’s hair color in FFVII remake. Her hair color is a rather dark ash brown, and in the original it’s closer to black. It is likely that the twenty variations the development team looked at were different brown or ash hairstyles. The development team has also put a lot of time and effort into Tifa accessories. For example, the charms around the bracelet on her wrist look like a chocobo and a bomb.
