Just a quick note on “The End of Snow” predictions and predictions (You remember that, right? I was referring to another such nonsensical media meme here.)
According to the post at Severe weather in Europe: “Northern Hemisphere snow levels now among the highest in 56 years Increases predictability of early cold weather in both North America and Europe“. The following picture is from snow page in Global Atmospheric Tracker.
Here’s what they mean:
That’s a lot of “no more snow”.
Or this one:
Readers should note that: “56 years high” does not mean it was higher in some years prior to 1966. It means that our first satellite measurements were from 56 years ago…. so it really means “highest ever measured”.
As for “drought everywhere”, this isn’t low water snow:
This observation is very consistent with “In his The most recent Weatherbell Saturday recapveteran meteorologist Joe Bastardi look ahead winter weather in the coming weeks globally.”

In the Central Hudson Valley of New York State, USA, we had our first snow on October 15order. It’s long gone now, when Indian Summer arrived and my wife and I enjoyed a wonderful couple of days sailing the fall decorated Hudson River in 70°F sunny weather.
For the past 30 years, we’ve had heavy snowfall early in Halloween and late into Easter.
We live with the hope of another White Christmas we had last year.
The weather is turbulent and varies wildly in a range defined by unnumbered elements, which we call Earth’s climate.
Enjoy the snow, if you have it. According to so many false voices: “It will soon be a thing of the past.”
