Thanks to compassionate animal rescuers, many precious lives have been saved. In the story and video posted below, we meet a caring police officer who went on a mission to rescue a puppy in a precarious situation. The boy was trying to find food when his head got stuck in the fence. If he is not detected and if help does not come, he will not survive. The metal fence will eventually strangle him as he tries to escape. Thankfully, the puppy’s fate was in capable hands.
The police arrived at the scene. An officer approached the puppy, knelt down and placed his hand around the puppy’s neck. He rocked back and forth to try to free him, but this did not work. The puppy was actually in there! To his surprise, the puppy understood that the policeman was trying to help him and wagged his tail. The police officer then tried a different approach and finally freed the boy!
The puppy was very relieved, as were the officers on the scene. They held him down to calm him down, then put him in their car. Since no one seemed to know who this dog belonged to, it was taken to the Fresno Animal Center. Everyone was certain that he would quickly find a loving, forever home.
We are extremely relieved that the puppy was rescued and is now surrounded by new friends who are showering him with loads of love and affection. Play the video below to see the dramatic rescue.
