I have sympathy for Suzuki, a former TU250X driver. So the GSX250R is one of my favorites here, special with those two tones and ABS on the modern bike. My old TU250 helped me through most of my graduate school and I will never forget what my linguistics professor (a foreigner from Japan) told me while I was wearing it. items in the parking lot. “Oh,” he exclaimed, “big boy!” He was pointing at the engine – I thought – not at me, even though I was well fed.
The problem is that the 248cc is not a “beginner bike” outside of the US; it’s simply a bicycle. That TU250X has lacked a lot of modern touches and some fenders that would make short highway trips easier. That’s why I love the GSX250R.
