‘Tis always season of skirts. A brief anecdote: I moved to a new city last year. Like many New Yorkers, I moved down South to Miami, and with that, I found that My style has changed dramatically. What is the purpose of my story? Changing my wardrobe forces me to think hard about what’s really changing. And, perhaps the most important change to take place in my wardrobe is replacing my beloved denim collection of over 75 pairs of jeans (I know it’s too much – but I’m obsessed) with skirts. .
In New York, I rarely wear skirts. And if I did, it’s always been some sort of pencil skirt that’s easy to pair with layered boots (example below). Then, as I adjusted to my Miami lifestyle, I found myself drawn to a diverse, new range of dresses. I’ve tried everything — and love it.
