Mine is turned on Purina One Lamb & Rice for many years but he had to have 3 teeth extracted at 10 and a half so I have helped him get well now.. he no longer has brown spots on his feet from licking them. So I think he had an allergic reaction to the food. His food now is 6 eggs, whatever meat I have available here is diced ham, rice, green beans, mixed vegetables, 1 pack of Ramen noodles. I find it much cheaper than dog food.. Even so, I always keep an eye on human food sales.

What is he currently being fed when you get him? If there is no problem and he is healthy then why change it? When we caught our bull, it built up protein in its forelegs and we started feeding it I WILL BE and he’s already known for over 6 years and his legs are no problem either. He is healthy, has solid poop all the time and loves to go for walks. If you feel the food you are feeding it is not tasty enough, do your research and see what kind of food you feel is best, and get a small bag to see how your bull will react. . Just because it’s good for someone else doesn’t mean it’s good for you. Good luck

We always feed our bulldogs with salmon dog food. Ours is on Purina Pro Plan Salmon and Rice The current. (They are making Salmon and Tuna, but Purina has discontinued production.)

I’ve used Duck Canidae Formula recommended by a Bulldog veterinary specialist. Iggy has allergies and stomach problems. The vet told me that duck meat is the most digestible protein. Even better than salmon. It really made a difference

Start with whatever she ate at the rescue. Continued dietary changes will cause stomach upset. Whatever you choose, make sure it’s yeast-free. Bulldogs have sensitive skin, which is prone to yeast infections and makes them very itchy. Brewer’s yeast is used as a vitamin supplement and flavor enhancer but is bad for dogs prone to yeast infections. I started my girl on dry Fish 4 Dogs and within a week she was trying to peel off her skin. I changed her to Burns dry Sensitive and she’s been fine ever since.

We bought a lot of different varieties and no matter what we feed him, he gets sick right after that we buy a bowl that makes him eat slower, it doesn’t matter, he still eats fast and spits up. So we tried fresh pet and he’s not sick anymore, his hair is thick and shiny. That’s all we feed it.

Mine had a problem with beef. I use Rachel’s Ray Chicken, or seedless salmon. But I cook the turkey/quinoa/veggie mix I cook and mix with it. He did a great job! Veterinarians have suggested other things but this one works best. My son has severe allergies, worst I have ever seen! Good luck!

I make food for my bulldogs. It was hard and expensive work, but it was the only thing that kept her allergies at bay. Her foods include: ground beef, ground lamb, salmon, hard-boiled eggs, brown rice, broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini, yellow squash, spinach, sweet potatoes (sometimes pumpkin) ), peas, apples, cheese, blueberries, and coconut oil. She is also given a daily vitamin supplement.

we raise Salmon Purina Pro. We live in the country so he’s still itching but give him benadryl and he’ll be fine. The only problem we ever had was that when he was 2 we went to a friend’s house a lot and they were feeding him milk bones with the rest of the group (8 dogs in total, 3 in total). our baby) He had pancreatitis and $800 later no more milky bones dyed red!

My boy who is almost 8 years old has tried a variety of foods but he continues Sensitive Go Lamb his coat is very nice not very buckle. I have done a lot of research and testing on it and they say that the Lamb is the best bulldog breed.
