The 2025 BMW X3 leaked before we were supposed to see it


by BMW popular X3 seems in line for a complete redesign, with images of the crossover leaking ahead of its reveal in the coming weeks.

The presence of a charging port in front of the front doors indicates that this version is a plug-in hybrid, capable of equivalent to the current generation X3 xDrive30e.

We can also see flat door handles along with smoother exterior lines, creating a slippery appearance.

Based on Bimmerpost Forum user ynguldyn – who claims to compile information on future models from BMW insiders – the new ‘G45’ generation X3 will go into production in August 2024, with most All of its powertrains are identical to the current model.

According to reports, it will be 4755mm long, 1920mm wide (excluding mirrors) and 1660mm tall, while riding on a 2865mm wheelbase. This will make it 42 mm longer, 23 mm wider but 16 mm lower than the current X3.

Previous spy shots of camouflaged prototypes have shown BMW’s Curved Display inside the cabin, placing the digital instrument cluster and infotainment touchscreen in one cluster.

While the new BMW X3 will continue to be based on the brand’s CLAR architecture, the electric iX3 will switch to the Neue Klass electric vehicle (EV) platform. However, this is not expected to happen until mid-2025.
