Sunglasses are one must for any time of the year. They protect your eyes from UV rays and reduce your risk of diseases like cataracts and macular degeneration. They also reduce eye strain in the morning and eliminate distracting glare while driving. They also help shield your eyes from wind, rain, and flying debris.
Any pair of cheap UV glasses will work — you can find suitable options at drugstores or discount stores like TJ Maxx and Ross — but a few people on the Gear team have tried dozens of pairs. sunglasses while we run, hike, swim, walk, bask in the sun, and drive. These are our favorites.
