It’s the fight everyone wants to see – Terence Crawford versus fellow weight classmate Errol Spence Jr. – at least not this year. Instead, Crawford has told ESPN that he has signed on to face David Avanesyan next. The Battle of Crawford-Avanesyan was supposed to take place on December 10 in Omaha’s hometown of Crawford, Nebraska. It is known that the fight will be the main event of the pay-per-view card. Crawford’s WBO WBO title will be at stake.
