TE PPR Virtual Leaderboard Week 13: Who starts, ends well in fantasy football
If you haven’t already, you’ll be glad to know that the Week 13 bye time didn’t have much of an impact on our Week 13 fantasy TE PPR rankings. If you have a top star – well, aside from the injured Darren Waller – you can breathe easy this week. In fact, only a small percentage of fantasy football owners will ever need to look for a streamer, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that getting started, the decision will be easy.
When the most notable tight finisher is Austin Hooper, you know there are plenty to choose from. Travis Kelce (vs Broncos) and Zach Ertz (@ Bears) are back, but both had tough games. Of course, Kelce will be starting regardless, but Ertz’s fantasy scenario is more complicated.
WEEK 13 PPR RANKING:
Midfielder | Run back | Wide receiver | VND / ST | Kicker
On the plus side of a start or end bubble, CJ Uzomah (vs Chargers), Jack Doyle and Evan Engram (@Dolphins) have three of the most intriguing matches to tap into a tight finish. Pat Freiermuth (vs. Ravens) can also be trusted in PPR tournaments, and we know Foster Moreau (vs. Washington) will be heavily involved if Waller (knee) is sidelined. When Moreau started in Week 7, he caught six 60-yard passes and one TD.
WEEK 13 STANDARD RANKING:
Midfielder | Run back | Wide receiver | Tight ending | VND / ST | Kicker
The next level of streaming is the desperate Tyler Conklin (vs. Lions) and Ryan Griffin (vs. Eagles). Griffin is rarely seen as a viable option in the fantasy – except in a game against the worst TE-stopper defense like this week. We’ve seen Conklin’s comeback this season, but surprisingly the Lions’ are a good defensive team against a tight spot. However, we are still considering him because the Lions have nothing to play with and Conklin has a big play potential.
Zach Ertz (@ Bears), Hunter Henry (@ Bills), and Dawson Knox (vs. Patriots) are all hots this season, but each will face a seventh defense against fantasy TEs . They’ve all been successful this year, but we’re not ready to call them must-have starters just yet. Of course, you’re probably playing these guys through most of the top streamers we’ve listed, but at least check out your other available options if you own Ertz, Henry or Knox. They can be a bit of a touch down or bust, which usually means a slightly low floor in PPR tournaments.
All in all, a week for TE shouldn’t be too complicated, so keep going if you have one, or determine the best option available according to our ranking if you don’t have one.
Note: We will continue to update this TE PPR leaderboard throughout the week, so check back for the latest analysis and player movements.
