Black Friday and Cyber Monday are gone, but the deals haven’t stopped yet. In fact, only this weekend, Target will be selling Target gift cards. On Saturday, December 3 and Sunday, December 4, 10% discount target gift card in store and online with one use Target circle Exemptions.
From milk and bananas to clothes, luggage, toys and home furnishings, Target is the go-to destination for almost anything. It’s hard to go wrong buying a Target gift card for yourself or someone on your shopping list. Maybe that’s why so many people agree that you can easily walk into a Target for something and accidentally leave the store with the entire store.
If you know you’ll likely be shopping at Target often in the near future, buying a discounted gift card now also helps you meet your needs. Minimum credit card spending to earn a credit card signup bonus. That way, you’ll meet the deadline for your earned spending bonuses and save money on Target purchases over time. If you have a number of Toys for Kids purchases to make and donate, these gift cards can also make it easy to extend that donation by 10%.
To take advantage of the moment you start saving for your vacation, you first need to activate the offer in your Target Circle account. This limits the number of gift cards you can purchase for just one account.
Some restrictions apply:
- Offer valid for a single transaction up to $500 in Target Gift Cards (up to $50 off) at Target or Target.com for each Target Circle account. Transactions can include multiple Target Gift Cards.
- Offer does not include Target Visa gift cards, Target MasterCard gift cards, Target American Express gift cards, or gift cards that other retailers sell in-store.
- Offer does not include reloading of previously purchased Target gift cards and cards offered in exchange for electronic or prepaid transactions, cards offered for returns, and cards offered as cards Free promotion on eligible purchases.
You can purchase gift cards in smaller denominations with a maximum discount of $500 or a $500 gift card. If you want to increase the value of this deal, you can pay for your discounted gift cards with one Chasing Flex Freedom via the PayPal payment option on the Target.com desktop site. If you haven’t used up your $1,500 on Freedom Flex’s 5-point-per-dollar bonus categories this quarter (including PayPal), you’ll earn 5 points for every dollar spent on this purchase (activation required).

With this you can buy a $500 Target gift card for $450 and earn 1,350 Ultimate Rewards points (or $27 at current valuation of 2 cents per point) via PayPal using Freedom Flex card. If you also have a premium Ultimate Rewards card such as Chase Sapphire Reserve, then 2,250 points you’ll earn is worth $45 at TPG’s valuation. A total of $95 in savings/income on a $500 purchase. This is beneficial if you’re going to be spending those dollars in the coming weeks and months.
Go through a shopping portal before clicking on the Target site is also helpful advice, although gift card purchases are not usually cash back.
