Switch to Side-Scrolling Beat ‘Em Up’ Fight’N Rage ‘Version 1.0.6 Hits, Here Are Full Patch Notes

Seba Games Dev’s love letter toStreet inspiration and The last battle – Fight’N Rage – getting a free update today! The game first launched on Switch in September 2019 and received glow 9/10 rating from uswhere we praised its “deep and amazingly weighty combat engine”.

Now, side-scrolling rhythms are getting some pretty big changes that will keep fans of the genre happy. These fun little patch notes – caught from Steam (thanks Greatsong1!) – brought in new skins, stat views, some minor fixes and what looks like a brand new unlockable mode!

Here are the patch notes for your happy reading:

Version 1.0.6 (Release May 2, 2022)

– Statistics: Since I’ve always loved transparency, it’s now possible to view game stats (which have been worked on internally since the first version of the game!). So, if you want to know how many times you’ve been destroyed, or how many times you’ve destroyed the game (among other things)…you can now access that information! (To do so, simply type in the “Add” section.)
– Various minimal performance improvements: It’s something that’s pretty unavoidable as you continue to work on your own framework. =)
– A new secret mo … ahem … what am I saying?: It would make no sense if, after reaching the end of the game and having purchased the 9, 16 and 17 characters, you could access a new game mode, doing something silly like stopping in options” Arcade mode” and hit a weird sequence like “back, back, forward, forward” twice, then “backward, forward” four times. I’m talking nonsense…don’t listen to me. =)
– Finally, I added new skins for the enemies: For some reason, it would be sad if there was a 3-player mode where you could also pick enemies, have enemies with only 2 suits… or enemies that are more fun to play as Diane has little clothes. Do you think so?
