Sunday Night Football Draft Picks: NFL DFS Squad Tips for Steelers-Chargers Showdown Week 11 Tournaments

Tthe Chargers will host the Steelers in the Sunday Night Football edition of Week 11. We have to make some compromises with our DraftKings Showdown lineup this week, especially on the “Captain” slot, where we’ll pivot away from Najee Harris. However, the money saved allows us to strengthen the bottom end of the DFS lineup without sacrificing its ceiling.

Before we get into our picks, here are the main rules of the DraftKings Showdown: That is Full point PPR, and have three-point bonus for 300 yards of passing, 100 yards rush, and 100 yards receive. The captain pick costs 1.5 times the player’s original price, but he also gets his total score multiplied by 1.5.

SHOW MORE DK: How to win the Challenge contest

DraftKings: Steelers vs. Slideshow Selection. Chargers

Budget $50,000, need at least one player from each team.

Captain (1.5x points, 1.5x salary) RB Austin Ekeler, Charger ($16,200)

Ekeler has cooled down a bit since his 30.0 DK performance in Weeks 4 and 5, but he’s still only failed to hit doubles once this season. Whether it’s running, receiving or scoring, Ekeler will be in a position to deliver another monster performance, even against a high-quality defence.

FLEX RB Najee Harris, Steelers ($11,800)

Harris leads the Steelers in usage by a wide margin. His 220 touchdowns accounted for 48.7% of Pittsburgh’s total touchdowns. He’s only scored under 20.0 DraftKings points once since Week 2, so we know a high floor. The Chargers have one of the worst defenses in the league, so a flamboyant score could be in the cards for Harris.

ADD SNF DFS: FanDuel lineup

FLEX WR Keenan Allen, Charger ($9,400)

Allen is an attractive pick on the DraftKings lineup where full PPR can make the most of his short-zone sloth role. Allen only had one game with over 10 ball picks, but he earned three DK bonus points for hitting 100 yards receiving three times. He averages a modest 10.7 yards per catch, but he has received 35 goals in his past three games, so either way, he should be able to win some point on Sunday night.

FLEX TE Pat Freiermuth, Steelers ($5,400)

Freiermuth is having a performance where he is kept to 7.1 DK despite the season-high nine goals. It was his lowest fantasy output since Week 5, but he has seen 29 goals and scored three times in his past four games. The Chargers have struggled to fend off tight finishes this season, putting Freiermuth in a position to get back on track this week.

FLEX K Chris Boswell, Steelers ($3,600)

The Steelers offense is flawed, with or without Ben Roethlisberger (COVID) in between. Their struggles with the ball led to more scoring attempts, especially late in the game. They are tied with as many fourth attempts in the past three weeks. Meanwhile, the Charger made multiple fourth attempts in the same amount of time.

FLEX WR Ray-Ray McCloud, Steelers ($3,400)

McCloud’s playtime has been trending upwards in recent weeks, and he’s about to play a game where he signed up for the best season in a split second (61), goal (12) and take over ( 9). It’s hard to complete this roster without the Hail Mary, but if McCloud can replicate last week’s effort to some extent, we’re unlikely to be left empty-handed.
