Eversource Energy Co speak In a press release, 1,700 teams are working to restore power in Massachusetts, after relief supplies were sent from Connecticut and New Hampshire.
Schools will open Monday in Boston, where the National Weather Service reported a record single day of 23.6 inches of snow on Saturday. Mayor Michelle Wu said the city snow emergency will end on Monday morning.
The ‘bomb cyclone’ that brought icy and snowy weather over the weekend affected the states along the Atlantic coastwith the National Weather Service reporting 9.5 inches of snow in Wallops Island, Va.
