Avis . budget team – Budget care rental company shares rose 2% following quarterly results. Avis reported adjusted earnings per share of $21.70, compared with expectations of $14.64 per share, according to Refinitiv.

Stryker – The medical technology company fell 5.5% after its latest quarterly results were missed. Stryker posted adjusted earnings per share of $2.12, versus an estimate of $2.23, according to Refinitiv. The company narrowly beat revenue expectations.

Hologic The medical provider’s stock added 7.5% as it beat analysts’ expectations for top and bottom profits for the latest quarter, according to the Street Account. For the fiscal year ending September 2023, the company expects earnings per share of $3.30 to $3.60 versus FactSet’s $3.43 expectation. while the company’s revenue is expected from $3.7 billion to $3.9 billion versus $3.81 billion expected.

Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company – The shares of the tire company fell more than 8%. Goodyear posted quarterly earnings per share of 40 cents on revenue of $5.31 billion. Analysts expected earnings per share of 55 cents on revenue of $5.36 billion, according to the Street Account.

IDEXX Laboratories – The animal and water-focused science company rallied 2.8% in aftermarket trading as investors looked at earnings Tuesday before the market opens.
